is heading to Berlin for IFA 2022, which runs September 2-6. It’s one of the biggest tech shows of the year, and alongside global brands like Samsung and LG that make everything from laptops to TVs as well as devices for the home, home appliance and smart home specialists like SharkNinja and Ring will be exhibiting. your products. .
From a Homes perspective, we expect new product launches and exciting new category announcements. We are also looking forward to seeing and putting into practice the latest innovations in the various live product presentations and demonstrations.
We’re still finalizing our itinerary for the event, but we’ve already identified some important brands that we’ll meet up with. Here’s who – and what – we’re looking forward to seeing.
Who are we looking forward to seeing at IFA Berlin 2022?
Global home appliance maker Arçelik will showcase innovations from its 12 brands, which include Grundig and Beko. Company CEO Hakan Bulgurlu will deliver a speech on Friday, the first day of the convention, where he will focus on the climate crisis and his vision for addressing these challenges.
We are particularly excited to see Beko’s new water efficiency solutions that can drive real change in homes around the world. We’re also excited to hear about innovations for small appliances like vacuum cleaners, coffee machines and hairdryers.
Manufacturers of Ninja blenders and Shark vacuum cleaners will launch a new category and a new product. As fans of the Ninja Foodi Health Grill & Air Fryer and Shark Bagless Cylinder Pet Vacuum CZ250UKT, we can’t wait to see what the company’s next offering might be.
Famous for its video doorbells like Ring Doorbell Pro 2 and Video Doorbell 4, Ring company is one of the smart home security brands. It’s been a while since the release of Doorbell May 4, 2021, the latest in their current product lineup, so we think there might be a new product released at the convention.
Everyone is familiar with this tech and home appliance giant, makers of many different types of products, including phones, TVs, robot vacuum cleaners and washing machines.
We recently covered the Samsung Bespoke Jet, so we’re looking forward to (hopefully) hearing more about their range of home appliances. We suspect that any innovation they come up with will help us live more connected lives.
We are also excited to meet with AEG, Swan and Yale to hear about what they are working on and their innovative plans for the future. There will be a good mix here of big appliances like washing machines, dryers and dishwashers, and small appliances like fans, fryers and smart locks.
Ahead of IFA 2022 on August 31st, the Smart Home League event is scheduled to take place. Also in Berlin, this event will be held on the rooftop terrace of one of the city’s trendiest neighborhoods. We can’t wait to hear from tado°, Yale, Philips Hue and the CSA.
What else do we look forward to at IFA?
In addition to fixing our hair with SharkNinja on Friday, September 1st, we’re excited to see the latest innovations.
If we’re in a position to try any product, that would be just as great, so we can report back and maybe even call you in to review at home.
How long will we be at IFA?
The event is officially open September 2-6, but we (our Homes editor) will be there August 31-September 3 to attend press events and test out as many products as possible.
