HyperX has unveiled a new limited-edition product line of gaming peripherals that features two popular characters from the popular manga and anime series, Naruto: Shippuden.
There are two sets, each based on Naruto Uzumaki and Itachi Uchiha, which are styled in their trademark color palette with a bold orange for Naruto and a darker red based on Akatsuki member Itachi. They include a gaming keyboard, gaming mouse, gaming headset and mousepad.
Both sets can be purchased individually on September 21 in the US: the mechanical keyboard is $119.99, the headset is $109.99, the mouse is $59.99, and the mousepad is $39. .99.
Does this collection stand on its own?
While picking Naruto for an ensemble is obvious due to his main character status, Itachi as the choice for the villain side is a bit strange until you remember how his popularity eclipses most other bad guys.
Regardless, the game collection appears to be of high quality as it’s one of HyperX’s already great gaming products, which is a rarity among the more officially licensed products (just check out our review of the terrible AndaSeat Transformers gaming chair).
And honestly, the peripheral designs are pretty solid, accurately reflecting the characters they’re based on, while still being genuinely well-designed regardless of the property they’re based on.
